Gallery of Sketch Covers. Sketch covers are original artworks illustrated on blank variants of particular issues of their comic books. These are rendered by hand using pencil, ink and markers. It should be noted that these are fanart that I've drawn on the blanks the comic companies sold. These are not 'official' covers endorsed by the respective companies. Nor are they illustrations that have been digitally manipulated using trademarked logos to make 'mock' covers. These are actual scans of the completed original artworks. I know, they look kinda digital, right? All ink and markers.. Just to clear that up. Never can tell how people think these days, just don't want anyone to think these are real Marvel or DC covers that they approves and released or anything like that. Know what I'm sayin? - On a side note, I do want to thank Marvel, DC, IDW, Titan, Udon and the others that have least tried (except Dynamite.. sorry.. what gives with that stock?) for this boom of blanks, even if most of my work is babes and boobs and babes with boobs. As an artist who enjoys the ink and marker medium, the cover stock on many of these have been fun to work with, a somehow better version of smooth bristol. There's been some disappointing stocks, but they've been pretty consistently enjoyable for a few years. I think it's been a fascinating new idea. Just to give them their due props for them for making these blanks.
